I forgot to put my DisplayKEY on the cradle. How do I go about updating my key?
If you purchased your DisplayKEY from NJMLS, you have 3 options:
1) Manual E-Sync: To do this, scroll down to Manual E-Sync, press Enter, and place your DisplayKEY on the cradle
as instructed.
2) Manual Update: 1-888-968-4032 to obtain a manual update code. Scroll down to Manual Update, press Enter, enter
update code, and press Enter.
3) Manual Update through the web: Go to
supraekey.com to obtain a manual update code.
Click on 'Log on to Kim'.
Select your Association/Board. Enter your DisplayKEY # (found on back of key)
Enter your Pin#.
Click on 'Update Code'
Hit Enter on your key. Scroll down to Manual Update, press Enter, enter update code, and press Enter.
NOTE: You can
only get manual update codes for three (3) days, then your key
MUST be put on the cradle to update. The Kim system will NOT
give you an update code until you've performed an e-sync.
NOTE: If you purchased your DisplayKEY at GSMLS, you must call to have it programmed
as a cooperating key with the NJMLS, then you must perform 2
manual e-syncs to update the key so it opens NJMLS lockboxes.
NOTE: If your key is programmed as a cooperating key, it must update on the cradle
for it to work for both boards!!!
What is the phone number to update my DisplayKEY?
Kim's number is 1-888-968-4032. You can also log on to
www.supraekey.com.
Click "Log into KIM", and follow directions to obtain an update code. Remember, these options should only
be used if you forgot to update your DisplayKEY on the cradle. Your keypad must be placed on the cradle that night.
I would like to purchase an extra cradle to keep in the office so my key can be
updated either at my home or office. Can I do this?
Yes, cradles are $99 plus tax and can be purchased at either NJMLS location.
Several brokers have purchased a cradle to keep in their offices for agents to use.
I cannot return to my DisplayKEY menu options. What do I do?
If you cannot exit by pressing the up arrow key, press Enter and 1 simultaneously to reset the key.
I call KIM and the phone just rings. What do I do?
This is rare, but please try again as KIM was probably busy with other callers.
The fastest way to update your key is to select the Manual E-Sync option from the menu, press ENTER and place
the key on the cradle. It will dial into Supra and update the code. If you still cannot connect, try logging on
to the web site
www.supraekey.com for an update code.
After entering my DisplayKEY number and pin code, KIM tells me to call the board office.
Why is this happening?
You may be inactive with the Membership Department; call 201-387-9517 to check
your membership status. If this is not the problem, please call NJMLS Tech Support at
201-387-1150 from 9-5 Monday-Friday.
How do I find out who has used a key box and entered a house?
The instructions are found on the Quick Reference card and in the manual that came with
your DisplayKEY. If you still need instructions, call Technical Support at 201-387-1150 and they will fax
you the printed instructions. For online instructions go to
www.supraekey.com, click on Training/Documentation,
click on DisplayKEY or eKey. Click on online reference.
How do I program a keybox (lockbox) for specific access hours?
DisplayKEY: The keybox (lockbox) must be brought to the MLS office
to program the access hours. Once the keybox has been programmed with the specific access hours, you have the ability
to activate or deactivate those access hours.
To activate timed-access, select Programming from the menu, press Enter, select 1 for Timed access.
Enter the shackle code for the lockbox, press Enter.
The DisplayKEY should say Successful Timed Access hours are now turned on.
To deactivate timed access hours, select Programming, press Enter.
Select 2 for 24 hour access and press Enter.
Enter the shackle code, press Enter.
The DisplayKEY should say successful.
You do not need to bring the lockbox to MLS.
e-Key: Select eKey from the programs menu.
Select 4 for Program Key/Keybox from the eKey main menu.
Select 3 for change access hours.
Enter the shackle code.
Select the shackle code.
Select option 1, 2,or 3.
1 - 24 hour access
2 - Activate daytime hours
3 - Customize Access hours
Then follow the prompts on the screen.
I lost my DisplayKEY, what should I do?
Call the NJMLS office (Monday - Friday, 9-5) and ask to speak to the Tech Department.
They will deactivate that DisplayKEY number. If you find your DisplayKEY within 30 days of purchasing a
replacement, bring back the new one and your money will be refunded. If you have not purchased Loss/Theft
insurance you will need to replace the key at a cost of $150 (plus tax). If you loose the cradle the
replacement cost is $189(plus tax).
