I'm a new agent and I want to join NJMLS. What is the procedure?
First, fill out a New Agent application and fax it to our Membership Department at 201-387-6960. Once you have submitted an application and payment to the Board of Realtors, you can register for the an Orientation class. This class is required before a keypad and password to XL Paragon will be issued.

What are the fees for a new agent?
A new agent pays a one time registration/XL Paragon start-up fee of $65.00 and a $111.00 semi-annual MLS access fee. These fees are billed to your office so you will make payment directly to your broker. If a new agent needs a keypad there are additional fees associated with leasing a Supra DisplayKEY. The lease fees for a Supra DisplayKEY are separate -- all agents leasing a key must do so in person and with a payment made directly to Supra. How often are the classes given for new agents?
The Orientation class is offered once a week in Haworth and in Rutherford. The class includes rules and regulations, keypad, and XL Paragon training.

I'm a broker and want to open my own office, how do I join?
Fill out a New Participant Application and mail it back to us along with the $500 office initiation fee and a letter of good standing from your Board of Realtors.

What are the fees for a new office?
There is a $500.00 initiation fee and $30.00/month office dues. The broker and any agents who join pay their own individual membership fees (see above).

I'm an appraiser and I would like to join your MLS. Is that possible?
Appraisers may join as Affiliate members. You must be a Certified Licensed Appraiser and have membership in a Board of Realtors. Affiliate Membership provides you access to sold information only. Appraisers requiring access to full NJMLS data would have to join as a New Participant member and have full realtor status membership in a board of realtors

What is the cost to join as an Affiliate?
It is a $222.00 annual membership fee and a $15.00 start-up fee for XL Paragon. As an Affiliate member, you get access to sold information only. You may purchase Comparable Sold Books for $53.50 each quarter.

How do I transfer my membership to a new office?
Your old and new broker should call 201-387-9517 or fax notification to 201-387-6960.

If I transfer to a new office does my agent code # stay the same?
Yes.
