The following changes are recommended to safely have Norton Internet Security and Norton Anti virus users work with the NJMLS systems

On the Windows desktop double-click Norton Internet Security. If the icon does not exist on you desktop click

  1. Start
  2. Programs
  3. Norton
 
  1. Select Personal Firewall
  2. Click on Configure
  1. Click on Custom Level

Change to None:

  1. Personal Firewall
  2. Java Applet Security
  3. ActiveX Control Security

Click OK

 
  1. Click on Privacy Control
  2. Click on Configure
  1. Click on Custom Level

Change to None:

  1. Private Information
  2. Cookie Blocking

Click OK
  1. Click Ad Blocking
  2. Turn Off Ad Blocking by clicking the button above the configure button.

Ad Blocking should be turned on once user is completed.
For Norton Anti Virus
  1. Click on the Options button on the top Yellow bar.
  1. Select Script Blocking
  2. Take the check mark off Enable Script Blocking
  3. Click Ok
