Listing Syndication is a simple and efficient way to authorize distribution of listings to consumer-facing websites hosted by third parties. The NJMLS provides this service to select sites at no additional cost.
How Does It Work?
Designated Realtors have access to a link labeled Manage Listing Syndication which can be found on the Administration screen in Toolkit, as well as on the Listing Maintenance screen. The NJMLS End User Agreement must be reviewed; click Accept if you agree to terms and to move to the Manage Listing Syndication screen, where syndication choices for the office are made. The syndication option is set to “No” by default; to syndicate listings to a site, change the option to “Yes.” When you choose to send your listings to the internet when entering them into XL Paragon, they are automatically sent to our consumer website, njmls.com, but by choosing to syndicate, office listings can also be sent to:
- Realtor.com (set to “Yes” by default)
Branding Option on Syndicated Listings
Designated Realtors have the option to have their office name displayed on photos sent to syndication sites. The choice to use this option can be made on the Manage Listing Syndication screen. This option is set to “No” by default but can be changed to “Yes” by simply changing the button found beneath the syndication options on this page.
