The NJMLS takes pride in the quality and diversity of the education we make available to our members.  We provide you with many opportunities to become more knowledgeable about using XL Paragon and all it has to offer, as well as topics related to our system and the business of real estate.

We are pleased to announce that we have added several new classes to our schedule.  All classes are included in your membership fee, so there is no additional charge.  You may register by using the Register for NJMLS Classes link on the XL Paragon desktop.  If you have questions about scheduling or the curriculum, please give us a call.

iPad Tips and Tools for Real Estate:  Join us for this workshop which focuses on some very basic and frequently used functions of the iPad, as well as on several apps that could be helpful in your everyday business.  We will discuss some effective ways to work in XL Paragon on the iPad.

iPhone Tips and Tools for Real Estate:  This class touches on basic functionality of the iPhone which may be useful in organizing your business, including using NJMLS Agent Mobile, utilizing your phone as a Supra eKEY, creating new home screens, creating folders for apps, adding contacts, creating shortcuts, using calendars and reminders, and using the camera and iPhoto.  Additionally, there will be a discussion about apps useful to the real estate business.

New Realist:  This workshop is designed for agents who want to explore the information available in the newly enhanced Realist system, which gives you a more complete property picture by combining tax and public records with NJMLS listing data and market trends.  This class shows you how to search for properties using the new Realist tax search, view the Flood, Assessor, and Zoning maps, and display many property characteristics on the Realist Street Map (including parcel boundaries, approximate square footage, and recent sales).  Attendees will also learn how to search for real estate flagged as pre-foreclosure, auction, or bank owned as well as review the various documents associated with the foreclosure process.

Tax and Labels Workshop (updated curriculum):  This hands-on class teaches members how to run advanced tax searches in XL Paragon and Realist using criteria such as absentee owner, property class, deduction type, recorded sale date or sale price.  An overview of data available on tax reports will be provided. You will also be shown how to create labels pre-formatted in standard Avery sizes as well as use the export tools to generate a spreadsheet of the names and address information necessary to do a mail-merge for custom labels.

What’s Your Preference Webinar:  Explore the useful marketing and timesaving features available through User Preferences. Put your best foot forward by updating the personal information that displays on njmls.com including your accreditations, languages spoken, and your biography and accomplishments.  Also learn how to set up your preferences so that someone searching for an agent in a particular market will see your profile in their search results.  Save time when performing searches and running reports by setting your computer default settings.  Set-up the e-card to display your information when listings are sent via email, and customize your email signature.  Learn this and more in this new webinar.

Top 10 Tracking Tools Webinar:  Preview our top 10 favorite tracking tools in XL Paragon.  This webinar will provide a demo of tools to track status changes on listings such as the hotsheet and watch list, track views on listings using Hit Count Reports, and track showings using Supra.
