Are You Making the Best Use of Your njmls.com Agent Page?

Take a look at your Agent Page on njmls.com.  Does your profile convey your unique attributes to a consumer searching for a Realtor?  Do you realize that some of the information that you enter into User Preferences in XL Paragon is used to create what consumers see on the njmls.com Agent Pages?  What they read about you on njmls.com could be your first introduction to a new client.  Here are some tips, by section, on how to create an Agent Page that will work for you:

Add/Modify Your Agent Photo
Upload a good quality photo of yourself.  We suggest a portrait (not a selfie!).

Add/Modify Your Member Information
This section allows you to update your email address, website address, and contact phone number.  Additionally, you have the ability to enter information about your licensure, such as whether you’re a Broker Associate, a Broker, or a Sales Associate.  You may also choose your Accreditations, including RELO (Relocation Specialist), SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Certification), AHWD (At Home with Diversity), RAA (Residential Accredited Appraiser), among many others.  You can also choose up to five languages you speak.  Consumers using our public-facing website, njmls.com, are able to search for agents who speak a certain language, so if you can communicate in a language other than English, make it known!

Modify Your njmls.com Agent Page and Preferences
The information entered into this section tells the consumer all about you.  Here, you’ll be able to add your agent biography, list your accomplishments such as any awards you’ve won, committees you have served on, community service you have participated in, or accolades you’ve received.  You can also market yourself by choosing up to six towns where you consider yourself an expert, giving you an edge when a consumer does a search for agents in a particular town.  If you’ve indicated that you work in that market, you’ll come up in their search results.  Lastly, you’ll be able to preview your completed Agent Page and edit or change it as desired.
