We know you are receiving many emails right now, so to help, here is a summary to keep you up to date on anything you may have missed along with some new information:

Update to NJMLS Statistical Trends
For insight into recent market trends, click here to view a comparison of weekly NJMLS statistics, March to date, 2020 vs 2019. Note: This chart is now ordered from newest to oldest week.

Annual Membership Fee
Recognizing the challenges caused by recent events, we have made an adjustment to our upcoming member billing. During the first week of June, an email will be sent with a link to make payment for the annual membership fee of $222, which covers the period from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. This bill will be due June 30th, but we have extended a grace period until August 31st for those who need it.

COVID-19 Waiver
When adding Associated Docs to your listing, a new label option is now available for COVID-19 WAIVER. Agents will have the option to include these documents when emailing the Customer with Documents report from the system.

Watch List Update
An update has been made to the Watch List feature, allowing text message alerts to be received on listings being watched by MLS number. Once there is a change on the listing an alert will be sent to the contact phone number on file. The choice to receive an alert via text message displays when you add the listing to your Watch List.

REALTORS® Care Foundation
During this unprecedented period we are living through, the support the REALTORS® Care Foundation provides to those in need is more important than ever. Please take a moment to view a message from the RCF President and consider making a donation to add your support if you are able.

Governor Extends Executive Order

ShowingTime™ Updates
ShowingTime has released new listing controls for virtual showings. With this new setting, listing agents can now configure their listings for 1) Virtual Appts Only, 2) In-Person and Virtual Appts, or 3) In-Person Appts Only. Unless you specify otherwise, listings will default to allow both In-Person and Virtual Showings. For more information, please click here.

Delayed Showings through June 15th
For listings taken since March while the State Executive Order has been in place, the NJMLS temporarily lifted the 30-day restriction on Delayed Showings, and will continue to allow listings with Delayed Showings to be extended until June 15th; new listings can be taken with a maximum of 30 days delay. For a copy of the Delayed Showing form, click here.

Listings with Delayed Showings will temporarily not accrue Days on Market. Please note: the NJMLS can only control the number of “Days on Market” within our own system and not on third party sites like Zillow and realtor.com.

As a reminder, a Delayed Showing Form must be signed by the sellers, listing Broker, and listing agent and uploaded as an Associated Document to the listing when a property cannot be shown for more than three calendar days from the listing date.

Fields for Virtual Open Houses and Realtor Tours
We have released a system enhancement which allows you to display links to Virtual Open Houses and Virtual Realtor Tours on listing reports. These options are available by going to Modify Listing or by using the Tour/Open House link. The Virtual Open House information is also displayed on njmls.com and sites that NJMLS syndicates to such as Zillow, Realtor.com, and Homesnap.

Remine Live Open House
Remine has launched new Live Open House features. These new features will enable you to create live open houses that other agents and clients can easily search for and watch — while practicing social distancing. As part of your NJMLS membership, you will also get access to Remine Live’s streaming capability, which is exclusively available in Remine Pro. To learn more, click to view the blog article: Remine Enables Live Open Houses.

As a reminder, the Governor’s Executive Order prohibits traditional Open Houses at this time and specifies that real estate showings may be conducted on a one-on-one basis only.
