How Can We Help?


We realize this is a unique and challenging time to be a REALTOR®. The NJMLS is aware that the process of taking a listing, showing a property, and getting to closing may have become more complicated, and we are striving to do what we can to assist you.

We are dedicated to providing the support we pride ourselves on and also exceeding what you might typically expect. If there is anything we can do, please let us know and we will do our best to help. Our goal is to always provide outstanding, timely member support, especially during this unprecedented period.

Rising Trends


Trends are on the rise! While business seemed to come to a halt with the shutdowns in March, the real estate industry continues to show its resiliency. Realtors have had to learn new ways to conduct business, from learning to use new technology to following new policies and protocols. Your efforts are bearing fruit as we see statistical trends rising to positive levels once again. In looking at monthly statistics in 2020 vs 2019, June marked a return to positive increases in both the number of New Listings and Under Contract listings, with July showing an even steeper rise:
  • New Listings in June increased by 12.4% and in July by 23.9%
  • Under Contracts in June increased by 23.6% and in July by 33.0%
With closings being a lagging indicator, we hope to see a return to positive increases in Sold Listings as well.








 
 

Spotlight On Prospecting:  Client Collab Page


You’ve set up a client as a Prospect to receive automatic emails with property matches…what happens next? Based on the information that you’ve entered into the system for your Client, they will begin receiving automatic emails with listings that are based on those choices, at the intervals you set. Your customer will be brought to the Collab Center where they can view their matches and other helpful information.

Let’s review some of the information that can be found here:

First, to access the Client Collab Page, in XL Paragon, go to Prospects > Run Matches. Next to the name of the Prospect, click on the pink “P” hotlink.




On the top right is your branding including your agent photo if you have one in the system, your name, email address, and contact phone number.




Under that are two sections that display information based on property matches. The Updates box displays the total number of new matches since the last time your client viewed this page. There is a breakdown of how those matches are categorized. Total Updates are new or updated listings; your client will also see a separate breakdown for listings with a price change and for new listings that you sent as an Agent Pick.




Above that you’ll see the Saved Listings box. Customers can view listings that they’ve chosen as Favorites or those they’ve rejected. This is also where they can view listings previously sent as an Agent Pick.




Under your contact information is the Notices box. Your customer will be able to easily click on the Messages box to view messages that have been sent about matches. In this section, if you have enabled these options, your client will also be able to view Open Houses on new matches and view Under Contract and Sold listings which occurred over the past six months.




Beneath that, the listing summary is displayed. The View Detail button allows the user to open the page to display the listing detail with more complete information. Here, your client will also find options to send a message to you about the property or schedule a showing.






Sorting and viewing options are also displayed here, including a side by side comparison of listings.




As a reminder, you are able to view this page the same way your client views it. Go to Prospects > Run Matches and click on the pink “P” hotlink next to the Client’s information that you would like to view.
