Here is the latest issue of the NJMLS newsletter. It has also been emailed to you in a more mobile-friendly version.

New! ListHub Option Opened to All Publishers

While the NJMLS had an option to send office listings to ListHub for display on a select group of publisher websites, we have now opened the option to all publisher websites ListHub offers. We’ve made it easy to send office listings to ListHub via a new option in Manage Listing Distribution.

Designated Realtors can now select “Subscribe” to ListHub in the Manage Listing Distribution screen in Listing Maintenance, and then must register on the ListHub site to choose websites from their full Publisher List and choose lead management settings.

Reminder:  Compliance and the National Association of Realtors Rule Regarding MLS Rule Violations

It is imperative for MLS data to be accurate and timely. Recently, the National Association of Realtors (NAR) introduced new rules regarding MLS Participants (Designated Realtors) and Subscribers (Agents) in regard to policy compliance. This new rule outlines procedures which need to be taken for violations of our Rules and Regulations, including hearings conducted by members of our Board of Directors and Technology Committee, which will be conducted virtually at this time.

Possible outcomes for non-compliance, to be determined at a hearing, include:

  • completion of appropriate training
  • appropriate, reasonable fines
  • suspension or termination of MLS rights, services, and privileges

You can find a complete description of this new rule and possible outcomes from a hearing in the NJMLS Rules and Regulations; these are found in XL Paragon > Toolkit > Forms, Docs & Gen Info.

The NJMLS provides training, currently offered as webinars, on all services and products, during which we also discuss applicable rules and policies. Should you need to review any of our rules, regulations, or policies, please call and we will be happy to assist you.
